TAGINE - MOROCCAN COOKING POT

Traditionally used by nomads as portable ovens for making stews over charcoal fires, the Tagine is ideal for both cooking and serving.

Safe for stovetop (when used with a heat diffuser) or oven up to 390°F, this glazed terracota cookware doubles as a beautiful serving dish—care should be taken to protect your table as the base will be very hot.

Its conical lid acts as a chimney to trap the steam and drizzle it back down into the dish creating a flavorful sauce and tender meat and vegetables.

Seasoning before use is recommended as it will remove any earthenware taste and strengthen your Tagine. You can slow cook anything you can imagine inside this Moroccan Tagine!
